The Registro de Comercio of El Salvador’s Centro Nacional de Registros publishes, in its bimonthly bulletin (the Boletín del Órgano Oficial del Registro de Comercio), every filing it inscribes: commercial registrations of companies and their businesses (matrículas), their transfers and cancellations, deposited balance sheets, and corporate acts such as incorporations, amendments, liquidations, dissolutions, transformations and mergers. A bulletin holds several thousand filings, and each comes with its extract, the notice the registry publishes with the books and entries the filing was inscribed under, the company’s address, activities, declared assets or capital, and the balance’s amount. Filings from January 2024 on are kept, with each extract byte for byte; the current bulletin is read again every day as the registry adds to it. Search by company name (matched by spelling, so a typo or a missing accent still finds it), kind of filing, department or date, then read everything a company has filed by its file number, including whether its registration was cancelled.
The whole source, organized and ready to query: every endpoint on this page answers in milliseconds. Every response carries as_of: how current the data is. How datasets work.

Search filings

POST /sv/cnr-sv/filings-search/v1 Dataset One search over every company filing, by name, kind, department or date.
Returns as_of (how current the data is), the applied filters, total and total_is_exact, page, per_page, total_pages, count and results[]: the closest spelling first when query is given, newest first otherwise. Every filing carries id (its permanent id, e.g. matricula-517-382-1), filing_type, service (the service the registry lists it under), company_name, company_abbreviation, file_number (the company’s N° de expediente, when the bulletin lists one), registered_on, bulletin_period (yyyy-n, n from 1 for January-February to 6 for November-December), entry_book and entry_number (where it was inscribed), and what the extract says: for a registration incorporation_book, incorporation_number, trade_name, activities, address, municipality, declared_assets; for a corporate act purpose, term, capital; for a balance sheet balance_date, balance_kind, balance_amount, deposit_number, presentation_number; and nationality, domicile, department. document_url is Croma’s copy of the extract the bulletin publishes, byte for byte, which stays available whatever happens at the source; source_document_url is the bulletin itself.
Companies only. The bulletin also publishes individual merchants’ filings; those are not kept.
